Our Management Team

As a Mum, I know how hard it is to leave your child with others and I wanted to ensure that I made new mums feel as comfortable as possible about leaving their most precious possession.
From the first moment I saw Irlam Road, I knew instantly that it would make a perfect nursery.  We moved in as a family in 2003 and over the following 3 years we started to plan and save up to achieve the first phase of the nursery which was established in 2006.  Helen Cullen, the Manager, has been with the Nursery from the day it opened its doors and has helped me to build the nursery into a home from home environment which has a fantastic reputation.

Helen is the longest serving member of staff who has been with the nursery since its doors opened in January 2006. Helen has an NVQ level 3 in early years, a relevant first aid certificate and a wide knowledge of childcare & development.
Helen is the safeguarding officer and keeps up to date with new safeguarding policies and is also the Senco co-ordinator at nursery. Helen is available at any time to discuss any matters with you with regards to your child’s development or well being.
Helen has a lovely relationship with all of the children at nursery and their parents, the relationships we share with our parents is paramount to the running of our nursery, Helen feels very fortunate to have a supportive Deputy Manager Elaine, and a team of nursery nurses whom all work really well together to help to support the children in meeting their own individual targets.

Elaine our Deputy Manager has been with Irlam Road nursery since April 2006. Elaine has an NVQ 3 in childcare development and a relevant certificate in first aid. Elaine has a wide knowledge of childcare and development and strives to create close relationships with staff, children and parents.
Elaine works in our Bunnies 2 room and has knowledge of all safeguarding policies/procedures.
